The Mission of Naches Valley High School

Our mission is to provide - through cooperation of staff, students, parents, and the community
- a well balanced educational opportunity in which students will explore, discover,
communicate, and cultivate skills and resources enabling them to lead productive and
fulfilling lives as self-directed, lifelong learners in an increasingly complex and diverse society.

Principal's Message

A message from Mr. Rich Rouleau:

Naches Valley High School is a four year, comprehensive school with an enrollment of 495
students and is accredited by the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges.
Approximately 85% of our graduates enter college during fall term immediately following
high school graduation, 8% enter trade schools, 5% join the military services, 1% work full-
time, and the remaining 1% pursue other occupations.

The primary educational needs reflect both the demands of our high school and the desires
of our community. The curricular program contains a comprehensive college prep program,
a vocational program, and school-to-career work opportunities.

The overall goal of the high school is to provide equal opportunities for all students through
a comprehensive program designed to help them adopt a stimulating and satisfying lifestyle
to assist them in developing an awareness of the responsibilities of life, and to provide them
with the atmosphere to assume these responsibilities.
